-Introduction Woldingham School, known as the Convent of the Sacred Heart School until 1989, was founded in 1842 by the Society of the Sacred Heart, as a Roman Catholic girls' school. Initially based at Roehampton, it moved to Marden Park, Woldingham in 1942 and is now under lay management and in the trusteeship of the Society.
