Descriptive Information about the Record (click to expand) Provenance Deposited by the curator, East Surrey Museum, Caterham, in September 2004. The items were rescued from a skip and presented to the Museum by the wife of the solicitor to the Barrow Green Estate Company.

Plans are on parchment and coloured (buildings red, arable brown, meadow and pasture green, woodland indicated by trees); plots are numbered and tables of reference give name of plot and acreage (total acreage for whole estate is 2206a 2r 6p). Names of neighbouring owners, fences and parish boundaries are shown. Some later pencil annotations. The separate plans show Barrow Green Mansion and Lands, Oxted; Barrow Green Farm, Oxted and Tandridge; Oxted Court Farm, Oxted; Flint House Farm, Oxted; certain lands in Oxted lying to the north of the village centre; Stocketts or Stockhouse Farm, Oxted; copyhold land of the manor of Oxted Court (annotated as enfranchised in 1838); Heathenden Farm, Sundridge, Brasted and Chiddingstone; Scord Farm, Brasted; Brook Farm, Brasted, Chiddingstone and Hever.
