Deposited on long loan by the Vicar and Parochial Church Council in October 1988.
-Introduction
The original iron church at Holy Trinity, Knaphill within the parish of St John's, Woking was erected and opened in 1885. In 1907 a red brick church was built, designed by J Henry Ball. At the opening ceremony on 23 March 1907 the foundation stone of the church was laid by HRH the Duchess of Albany.
Holy Trinity, Knaphill was not created an ecclesiastical parish until 13 November 1967.
On 2 September 1976 the parish was increased in size by a pastoral order transferring part of the parish of St John the Baptist, Woking, to Holy Trinity, Knaphill.
