    Provenance
    The major part of the records was deposited by the Vicar in 1954. A further settlement examination book, 1802-1828, (ref. P2/3/12) was transferred to the Record Office by the County Welfare Officer in 1958.
    -
    The records
    Particularly worthy of note are the churchwardens' accounts which commence in 1630. The deposit also includes overseers' accounts 1712-1833, poor rate assessments 1726-1835, a volume of settlement examinations, 1828-1842, vestry minutes 1831-1833 and papers relating to parish charities, particularly the Poor's Allotment 1875-1884 and the Women's War Work Association, registered under the War Charities Act 1916.
