    Provenance
Deposited by the Parish Council in 1972.

    The records
This accumulation includes two parish books, one seemingly an original volume, containing churchwarden's accounts and other notes, 1688-1736, with vestry minutes and charity accounts for the latter part of the eighteenth century, and the other a volume created in 1900 by binding together the loose papers then extant. These include a group of settlement papers, 1700-1829, and a variety of other papers varying in date between 1690 (churchwardens' accounts) and 1849, as well as their manuscript labels, presumably also made in 1900. The deposit also includes poor rate assessments, 1748-1832, overseers' disbursements for various periods in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, and parish council minute books for 1894-1958.
