HER 10421 - CHURCH OF ST PETER, Windsor Street, Chertsey
The Parish Church. All that remains of the original 13th century and 14th century building is the west tower and chancel. Church rebuilt in early 19th century, Tower altered in brick from belfry upwards in 18th century. Collection of Abbey paving tiles in sanctuary. The 15th century chancel roof is original. Present aisles have 19th century balconies, with supports in place of nave arcade. Listing NGR: TQ0420266995
