HER 11060 - COLEGATES
House. 15th century with 19th century additions to ends. Timber framed core clad in red brick on rubblestone plinth, rendered above. Plain tiled half hipped roof with large centre stack, smaller stacks to ends. Originally hall house with lobby entrance. 2 storeys, 5 casement windows across the first floor, ground floor windows leaded under Projecting mouldings. Half glazed door to centre in rectangular half glazed porch with panelled dado wall on rendered plinth below. Double gable front brick and tile hung extension to right with weatherboard gables and casement windows; windows on ground floor under cambered heads. Half hipped extension to left and with applied timbering to first floor. Listing NGR: TQ4179656845
