HER 1107 - Saxon burials: Epsom
About six Saxon interments (probably either 6th or 10th-11th century) were found in allotments at Epsom in 1929. The burials lay in a line parallel with Stane Street Roman road. The excavator could not be located and there is no knowledge of further finds.
