HER 1195 - Earthwork. Moated site. Ledgers Farm

Except for the north-west side, which is waterfilled, this small quadrangular earthwork consists of a strong bank and ditch which clearly has never held water. The north half of the east side has been destroyed or possibly was never completed. This feature is not a moat and the evidence suggests that the north side became waterlogged during construction and the site abandoned.
