HER 1335 - Crowhurst Place: Moated Manor House 1420-59
The original Crowhurst Place was built circa 1450 and was moated. Little of the original house remains, as it was largely rebuilt in the 17th century and restored circa 1912. However, the front porch and centre gable of the east side are original. The moat is water-filled and in good condition. Crowhurst Place, (15th century restored 20th century) is a Listed Building Grade I.
