HER 13442 - CHURCH OF ST MARY OF BETHANY
Church. 1907 with mid 20th century extensions by W D Caroe in free tudor gothic. Brick with tiled and stone dressings; plain tiled roof. Nave and north aisle with chancel to east. West front: large west window with square panel tracery, billets to horizontal tracery bars. Window voussoirs of tile on edge with tiled arch to crowning bell turret. Windows to north and south 3 light with tiled decoration. Interior: bay nave arcade with tile on edge arches, square stone piers encased in wooden panelling. Marble floored apse 20th century fittings. Listing NGR: TQ0022758201
