HER 13453 - CHURCH OF ALL SAINTS

Church. 1893 by W.F. Unsworth in Old Surrey style. Dressed rubble stone, tile hung crossing with wood shingled spin and plain tiled roofs. Nave and aisles, south porch, chancel with chapel to the sout, vestry to the north east, square tower with broach spire above the crossing. Paired lancet windows, timber gabled south porch with -mock Norman south door, C strap hinges. Interior: 5 bay name arcade, smaller bay to east, on quatrofoil section piers. 2 bay chancel with stone arcading to north side, south chancel chapel tiled with mosaic work. Late 19th century fittings including circular stone font with wood ogee dome cover, trefoil arched piscina on chancel wall, stone reredos of Saints and Christ in glory.
