HER 158 - ST MARY'S AND ST NICHOLAS' CHURCH, Church Road, Leatherhead
St. Mary and St. Nicholas' Church, Leatherhead. The nave is from the late 12th century, the chancel and transepts date to the 15th century, as does the tower. It is very rare to have a double dedication. Anthony Hope (1863-1933) the novelist and author of 'The Prisoner of Zenda' is buried here.
