HER 1630 - Roman corridor villa, Compton
Scheduled Monument
A double corridor type Roman villa, excavated by the Surrey Archaeological Society in 1914. It had a set of paths at the eastern end. Finds include 2nd - 4th century pottery and coins ranging from AD 313-78. Several finds from the site are on display in Guildford Museum. Scheduled Monument.
