HER 16709 - Wonersh Park, Wonersh
An extensive parkland once ran to the south of Wonersh House. There were pleasure grounds and a large, probably walled, garden nearby to the south and east respectively. The house was demolished in the early part of the 20th century and much of the wider estate / parkland was lost to residential development. A small core of the parkland still exists including the site of the house which is now a small public park. It is possible that elements of the walled garden and earlier plantings may survive within the wider developed areas.
