HER 2332 - Flint Scatter
Collection of flints, found between 1925-30, from concentrated area at corner of field opposite the (then) Tannery. Site at that time used for storage of potatoes, now is an asphalted car park. The finder still has the collection which was inspected. Several hundred flints, some are re-touched. Superficially similar to those found at Ripley Sewerage Farm 1 mile to the east. Two further flints found at the edge of the field in 1977.
