HER 2550 - Mesolithic flints, Post Office Yard, Ewell
Excavations in the garden of a demolished house in High Street, Ewell in 1963, revealed in the fill of an 18th century sandpit, a Sestertius of Tiberius, Roman pottery, including Samian and possible Alice Holt. The site is now occupied by the Post Office yard. See HER 1149 and 2531.
