HER 2568 - 12th century Cuddington Church
Cuddington Church. The building of Nonsuch Palace was commenced by Henry VIII in 1538 after he had demolished the village of Cuddington and its church (of circa 1100-1350 AD and possibly earlier). Biddle excavated the Palace in 1959-60. See HER 1095 and 2569, HER 1095 has position of church on map.
