HER 2569 - Site of Cuddington village and Manor House
The site of Nonsuch Palace on the site of Cuddington deserted village and excavated by Biddle in 1959-60 (HER 1095). Building of Nonsuch Palace was commencer by Henry VIII in 1538 after he had demolished the village of Cuddington, and mansion. See HER 2568 for Cuddington Church.
