HER 2825 - Section Of Medieval town ditch
On 24th February 1985 a trench dug for a sewer along The Borough, Farnham, recovered dark soil infilling a feature some 5-6m wide which was about 1m deep (the top of which lay c. 1m below the road surface.) In view of its location and the other evidence (see HER 2677, 2826, 2827) it seems reasonable to interpret this as a section of the town ditch.
