HER 2872 - Roman material: Johnsons and Clark 17-33 High Street, Staines
Excavation by LAMAS and Egham-by Runnymede Society of the recovered 1st – 4th century Roman material in 1970 due to extension at the rear of the Johnson and Clark building, 17-33 High Street, Staines. The finds are in Spelthorne Museum. Correspondence is in the NMR library. Further excavation in 1979 also uncovered Roman material. Finds in Spelthorne and Guildford Museums. Further excavation was carried out in 1985/86.
