HER 4232 - 18th Century Dovecote/Cider House: Shackleford
Dovecote/Cider House to Aldro School, Shackleford. The 18th century octagonal dovecote was converted into a cider house in the 19th century, was restored in the 20th century and is now a store. It is of red brick with a plain tiled roof. A small, elegant, brick built, three tiered building probably first constructed in Tudor times and altered several times. It is now used by the school.
