HER 455 - Disc Barrow, Horsell Common
Scheduled Monument
This feature, circular in plan, comprises a bank, some 3.5m wide and 0.2m high with a slight inner ditch, measuring externally 38.5m in diameter and traceable in all except the south quadrant where it is lost in boggy ground. It is located near to two barrows of exotic type on Horsell Common. This would suggest that this is also a barrow, probably of ring or disc type. Grinsell records it as a disc barrow.
