HER 5620 - Sutton Place, Grade II* EH Registered Park of Special Historic Interest
A landscaped park laid out in the late 18th or early 19th century to accompany a Tudor mansion, with gardens and pleasure grounds largely laid out in the 19th and early 20th century. In the 1980’s Sir Geoffrey Jellicoe designed features that were inserted into several of the existing garden compartments, with a lake which was laid out in the park, which together form one of his most important works.
