HER 7441 - BROOKLANDS FARM HOUSE
Farm house. 16th century with 17th century, early 18th century and 20th century alterations. Timber framed with red brick cladding on rendered base, rendered and weatherboarded to rear. Plain tiled roof with end stack to left. T shaped plan , gable front cross wing to left end, plat band over ground floor. 2 storeys, three 20th century diamond-pane leaded casement windows across the first floor, casement windows below. Planked door to left of centre in 20th century, hipped roof brick porch. 6 pigeon holes in pyramidal formation, in gable to left. Catslide extension to right end. Timber frame exposed to rear of right hand return front. Interior: some framing visible, mainly on the ceilings. Listing NGR: TQ0671463547
