HER 7569 - 102 BEACONSFIELD ROAD
Late 19th century. Studio house. Red brick. Hipped modern roof. 1 storey, with 2 storey tower. Verandah to front, created by eaves overhang taken on wooden posts, themselves linked by balustrade with diagonal struts. Open gable in centre of verandah. Central doorway with fanlight, and relieving arch with diagonally laid bricks in tympanum. Casement with glazing bars either side of this. Modern plate glass window to left, in original opening, and French casement with glazing bars to right. Octagonal tower to right, with 1 casement with glazing bars on each side, and pyramidal roof. Interior: central hall, full height of house, lit by large clerestory with pyramidal roof. Large brick fireplaces with inglenook, and moulded terracotta panels inset. Listing NGR: TQ2149557520
