HER 800 - Bronze Age occupation site, Thorpe
Thorpe Lea Nurseries ‘Site 1’ Excavations from March 1974 revealed Bronze Age and Late Bronze Age scattered features, including pottery and domestic animal bones, indicative of an occupation site. The skull of a wild dog or wolf was found at the base of a pit that contained possible Bronze Age pottery.
