HER 8370 - HARTSHORN
Former Inn, now house. Late 17th century with plaque on front recording the restoration of 1904. Brown brick with some coursed heathstone to ground floor centre and on the right hand return front. Plain tiled roof, half hipped to left. Two storeys with brick plat band over tall ground floor, boxed eaves and end stack to left; buttress to front right. Irregular fenestration with five diamond-pane leaded, casement windows under th eaves across the first floor on tiled cills cutting into the plat band. Five windows across the ground floor, some under cambered heads, taller two light window to right of centre under gabled hood on brackets. Part glazed door to left under shallow, gabled, hood on brackets approached up a flight of three steps. Outshot across rear. Listing NGR: SU8971750759
