HER 89 - Roman Building Material, Stoke D'Abernon
Large quantities of Roman bricks, with their original mortar, are built into Stoke D'Abernon Church, and indicate the proximity of a Roman building, probably under the lawn of the manor house, although its location still remains a matter of speculation.
