FABRICATOR

FERME ORNEE

A rustic building of picturesque design, often associated with a model farm, country house or estate. Although ornamental in design they are intended to be functional. From the French meaning ornamented farm.

FIELD SYSTEM

A group or complex of fields which appear to form a coherent whole. In Surrey, many are known just from their earthworks and are often difficult to date without excavation.
