Sorry not to update sooner...but its been all go here at Surrey Heritage!
As well as the project being out and about on the road, we have been working on, with volunteer help, a large scale digitisation project. Large swathes of the county are covered by the Photographic Survey and Record of Surrey held by Surrey History Centre. This is a great collection of early photographs, from 1894 through to the 1950s.
Many have gone online already, for example from Guildford, Haslemere and Reigate, with many more on their way. If you are able to taken the same scenes today, we would also like to hear from you.
