The Queen's and the Surrey's:
their path to war with the British Expeditionary Force, 1940
2pm – 3pm a talk by Ian Chatfield, curator, Queen’s Royal Regimental Museum
Ian will trace the Surrey Regiments' journeys from part time soldiering in Surrey in 1939, to meeting the might of the German Army and their “Blitzkrieg” of 1940.
