This is one of two cottages built beside a private flint drive leading from Ockham Park, through Barnsthorns Wood, over a private bridge built across the railway line and on to Norrels Lodge and finally through to Horsley Towers.

It shows plenty of decoration with a more impressive coat of arms and there are two string courses, one of a row of bugles and the other of a guilloche pattern. There is also the inset ballustrade that appears on many of the other buildings.
