Holmwood: Stoneheal

Little is known of the history of Stoneheal, an early seventeenth century two bay cottage with an end chimney. It is half-timbered with a Horsham stone roof. In the late eighteenth century it was known as Tone Heat and owned by the Overseer of the Poor, Nathaniel Wix.
