From awesome archaeology to pesky pirates, Surrey Heritage’s Treasure Jam is here to help bust boredom during the Coronavirus lockdown. If you’re looking for something fun and creative for the kids -or yourself- to do then look no further.

Treasure Jam is an online event that encourages children, and anyone else who wants to get involved, to create something inspired by an amazing object, image, or work of art you’ve found in an online archive, museum or gallery. That’s your treasure!

We’ve raided Surrey’s archives, museums and archaeology store and created our own gallery of treasures to inspire you. From an ancient wax seal to a gruesome grub, use these fun, fascinating and quirky images to create your own treasure, such as a tactile book, coat of arms or colouring in! https://www.exploringsurreyspast.org.uk/treasure-jam-create-something-inspired-by-an-amazing-object/.
