Contents include rules and objectives of the Club; names of committee members; names of members who attended outside conferences or gave talks and who were running for other council elections; and a record of donations and accounts. Housing, agricultural and land issues are the main topics covered, however historical events are also touched on, such as an invitation to attend a suffrage demonstration (which members decided was ?outside the scope of the Club?) and the effects of World War I and its aftermath on land and farming. Annual Meeting 2 Feb 1914: 'Women's Suffrage Demonstration, Albert Hall. On a letter from Mrs Sneyd inviting the Club to appoint a delegate it was resolved by a large majority, after full discussion that the subject of the demonstration is outside the scope of the Club'. [Reference to Suffrage activity extracted as part of Surrey Heritage?s March of the Women project which focused on the growth of the suffrage campaign in Surrey.]
