Some great architects have worked in Surrey.

The likes of Edwin Lutyens have left their mark on the built environment and many examples of their work can still be seen today.

    Alfred Waterhouse – Victorian architect – built Abinger Hall (now knocked down) and Belmont School (Dorking) where his brother lived. There may be more buildings that he did, but I don’t know of them yet.
