The Borough contains much fine countryside including the Hog’s Back ridge running between Guildford and Farnham, heathland towards Pirbright in the north west and the wooded North Downs in the south east around Shere. The Borough is bisected by the A3 road, the historic route between London and Portsmouth.

One Response to Guildford: The Borough

  1. Guildford is an amazing place to live, one of the cleanliest areas I’ve lived in. The cultural heritage carried by the generations helps rising children and people there are always willing to help, at least my experience tells me that. Of course, as every other area, it has its problems but I think we should focus on the positive side of Guildford and keep the rich heritage left by our ancestors alive.
