In 1821 John Hassell painted watercolours of ‘Rooks Nest, Tandridge, [the seat of] Charles Hampden Turner’ and ‘Tandridge Hall, [the seat of] Mathias Wilks’.

    On October the 4th 1960-61 at master park oxted surrey, between a motorbike and a van, it happened outside the police station.could you give me more information please

    I lived in the police house in Tandridge as a child. My brother was born there in 1963. I have fond memories of Tandridge, even though I was very young.

    Is Tandridge Hall still standing? Think relatives may have lived there at some point.

    I have been researching my late Grandmother. According to the Census of 1949 she was living at Tandridge Hall.

    Can anyone shed any light on what it was and who it was owned by in that year?
